We know that during the first weeks after birth, tiredness, baby blues, getting started with breastfeeding, postpartum pain and lack of time can be hard to cope with.
Especially during the first few days, you’ll have a thousand questions about caring for your baby, breastfeeding and self-care. That’s why we’re bringing England’s postpartum care traditions to Madrid, so you and your baby can be looked after at home by the most qualified health professional: your midwife.
We’ll make sure everything is going well, and we’ll support and guide you with baby care, breastfeeding and your recovery during the first few days, so you can have a wonderful, empowering experience.
This service is covered by insurance with a reimbursement policy!
At every visit, we’ll care for and monitor both you and your baby. You’ll always be guided and supported by the same midwife, with all her warmth and professionalism, in your home.
And if important questions come up between visits and you can’t wait until the next one, you can contact us and we’ll answer them.
At each visit, as well as giving you advice and answering your questions, we’ll do a full check-up for both you and your baby.
We’ll check your stitches, general condition, any after-effects of birth, answer questions, help with milk coming in, breastfeeding, bleeding and general guidance, etc.
We’ll weigh your baby, monitor jaundice, the cord, feeding, general appearance, and provide guidance on any necessary care, etc.
